    Join us for an exclusive culinary journey as FVR Brew Bar at Huntriss Row hosts its very first supper club event! This is your chance to experience a unique social experience, featuring a tasting menu, expertly crafted by our resident chef Carlos and head baker Jose, showcasing the vibrant and diverse flavours of Latin America, Have great food and drink and make new friends!

    As this is our first attempt at this we're going to offer it at cost for one-time only (we'll only make money on the drinks if you choose to buy some) and we only ask you give us some feedback so we can refine things for our next one!

    What to Expect

    We're transforming our cosy coffee shop into an intimate social dining experience for one night only. This will be a classic supper club-style event – social, relaxed, and focused on incredible food. It's a set tasting menu, meaning you'll get to sample a delightful array of dishes designed to transport your taste buds.

    To enhance the communal feel, each course will be served 'family style' meaning food will arrive simultaneously for all guests to help themselves. As you eat, we'll take the opportunity to explain each dish, giving you insights into its origins and ingredients. This setup also offers a wonderful chance to socialise and mingle with fellow food lovers.

    Our regular coffee, tea, and other favourite drinks will be available throughout the evening, along with a couple of special additions just for the supper club. Please note that drinks are not included in the ticket price. We are trying to get a temporary events notice to serve alcohol too but it's not guaranteed so watch this space!

    Starters

    • Peruvian Fish Ceviche: Fresh white fish marinated in citrus juice, served with red onions, coriander, and a hint of chilli. A vibrant and refreshing start to your meal.

    • Crispy Corn Tostada with Mojo Chicken & Pico de Gallo: A crunchy baked corn tostada topped with garlic-lime marinated shredded chicken and fresh tomato salsa. A burst of flavour and texture in every bite.

    Main Courses

    • Belizean Rice & Beans with Prawns: Fragrant coconut rice cooked with red beans, thyme, and spices, served with juicy prawns. A comforting and authentically Caribbean dish.

    • Fish Taco with Salsa Criolla: Marinated grilled fish served in a soft corn tortilla with creamy avocado, zingy pickled onions, and fresh herbs. A delicious and satisfying take on a classic.

    Desserts

    • Tropical Maracu Mango Tres Leches: A soft sponge cake soaked in three types of milk, layered with sweet tropical mango and tangy passionfruit. A light and indulgent finish.

    • Guatemalan Sweet Corn Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream: A traditional moist corn cake from Guatemala’s countryside, made with sweet corn, butter, and vanilla, served warm with a scoop of cool vanilla ice cream. A delightful blend of familiar and exotic.
