After transitioning from avocados to specialty coffee, the Bayter Family, guided by expert Miguel Jimenez, embraced pioneering natural processes, including the revolutionary Koji fermentation method. Led by the dynamic trio of Martha Montenegro, Elias, and Shady, El Vergel Estate fosters a vibrant community while producing exquisite coffee. This flagship decaf, meticulously refined over a decade, harmonizes tradition and innovation with a unique extraction process using circular containers and a blend of water and ethyl acetate, gently removing caffeine while preserving the coffee's inherent fruity notes. This method ensures a caffeine level of precisely 0.1%, guaranteeing a pure and flavorful experience with every cup.
