This exceptional single-origin coffee has been awarded SCA cup score of 85, indicating a specialty-grade coffee with exceptional characteristics.Grown at an altitude of 1020 meters, this naturally processed coffee boasts a captivating flavor profile. Expect notes of nougat, toffee, and a juicy mouthfeel that lingers with a honeyed finish.

It comes from the esteemed COCATREL cooperative, established in 1961 in Três Pontas, Minas Gerais, Brazil. COCATREL is a leader in sustainable coffee farming, promoting environmentally responsible practices and empowering female coffee producers. They offer training and technical support to their 8,000+ members, fostering sustainable development in coffee-growing communities.

 

This particular coffee hails from a micro-lot cultivated by Antonio José Menezes in Carmo da Cachoeira, located in the southern region of Minas Gerais. Micro-lots allow exceptional, small-batch coffees to shine, and this Topazio varietal is no exception.
