Onwards and Upwards!

What a whirlwind it's been and we are already onto our second release! Some lessons learned:

  • Our tiny roaster is not big enough and we need a bigger one (see picture for this fantastic machine we found over in Cheshire)
  • We need to offer ground coffee
  • Local business is fantastic

This next roast we want to get out the door for Christmas, giving everybody something really special to drink over the festive season. Currently we're sample roasting and cupping three different coffees but I think it's going to be either Sumatra Mandheling or a natural process coffee from Honduras; watch this space!

That's not all though! We're also now rapdily rennovating the former studio space on the property to function as both the roastery and a (film) studio so that we can start broadcasting our roasts live on Instagram and/or TikTok. Our ambition is to get to a point where people can see their roast happening live. These will be limited time events but we'll see how we go.

So, busy couple of weeks ahead as things speed toward Christmas but thank you for your custom and trusting in us as we go on this journey together!
