Forge Valley Roasters is a North York Moors Champion & Featured in the Taste of the NYM Campaign!

We're absolutely buzzing with some fantastic news we just had to share. Here at Forge Valley Roasters, our passion for crafting exceptional specialty coffee is deeply intertwined with our love for the stunning North York Moors. That's why we're incredibly proud to announce that we've been recognised as a Champion business for the North York Moors!

We're also thrilled to share that we have been featured in the Taste of the North York Moors food producer campaign. It was a wonderful opportunity to share our story – from our transatlantic move back to Yorkshire to our dedication to sourcing and roasting the finest specialty beans.

For those who haven't yet heard our story, it all started with a craving for a good cuppa! After living and working in Arkansas, we, Chris and Tash, felt the pull to return to our roots in Yorkshire so our son Arnold could grow up closer to family. Inspired by the vibrant café scene in the US and no one roasting coffee in Scarborough, we decided to take matters into our own hands.

From those early days selling small batches at local events and online, with a remarkable 80% of our business within a six-mile radius, we've grown and evolved. You can now find our specialty coffee Brew Bar inside the wonderful Wilsons Food Hall in Seamer and at our stand alone location on Huntriss Row in Scarborough, surrounded by other fantastic "made-in-Yorkshire" products. Tash now leads our brilliant young team of budding baristas there.

We are committed to responsibly sourcing exceptional beans from renowned producers, ensuring every cup you enjoy is a testament to quality and care.

Being recognised as a North York Moors Champion and featured in the Taste of the North York Moors campaign feels like a wonderful milestone in our journey. It reinforces our connection to this incredible place and the vibrant community within it.
