Percheron Chenin Viognier 750ml
The Percheron Chenin Viognier Story
This wine is crafted from 30+ year-old trellised Chenin Blanc vines and 15-year-old Viognier grown across the Coastal region of South Africa, primarily in Swartland. The Mediterranean-style climate—dry summer days tempered by cool afternoon ocean breezes and cold winter resting periods—builds deep vine reserves. A portion of the Chenin Blanc is wild-yeast fermented and matured on fine lees to build textural depth and fruit intensity.
Vibrant and aromatic on the nose, offering perfumed jasmine blossom and ripe white peach. The palate delivers crisp stone fruit, juicy citrus, and bright, lively acidity, finished with an elegant saline minerality that makes it exceptionally food-friendly.
