The Brazil Fazenda Matão Story
Long in the planning, we're so excited to share this wonderful new coffee with you. Sourced directly from the estate, we've secured enough to offer this coffee all year round. This coffee is as sustainable as it is delicious too because the farm utilizes state-of-the-art drip irrigation to reduce water waste and operates on an "Energy Neutral" profile using homemade bio-fuel.
Fazenda Matão is located in in the Mococa (Mogiana) region of northern São Paulo. The farm sits high amongst the hills of Mococa, with elevations between 790 to 940 m.a.s.l., and boasts both beautiful views of the surrounding area and perfect growing conditions for the farms several varieties of Arabica. The Fazenda’s coffee cultivation mostly takes place in the flat plains of the farm, whilst the eucalyptus plantations spread over the slopes of the site’s many hills.
